Greetings to all of our lovely and loyal followers! This is one of your fearless leaders, Shavon! Our trip began in Louisville, where rainy weather had us sitting on the plane for an hour before we ever even left jetway. But alas, the clouds over the east broke and allowed our trip to officially begin.
Our next stop was a quick layover in Charlotte, North Carolina and then off to Dublin. The flight to Dublin was 7 1/2 hours and we attempted to sleep as much as possible. We arrive safely and without further trouble.
We are 5 hours ahead of EST, so we arrived in Dublin at 1:30am US/ 6:30am Dublin. We are starting a brand new day already!
We are currently on the Irish Rail to Cork, which will be our home until July 13th. We have many photos to share once we get settled.
